Originally called Cold Springs Ranch! The original gangsters, Gardner and Gibson, built what is now the Dorrington Hotel… haunted Dorrington Hotel, if you ask the locals. The first one burned down, of course, because why would history be simple? Like any good husband, Gardner eventually renamed the town after his wife, and voilà—Dorrington was born, same place new banner. Soon after came the General Store, and the rest, as they say, is history.
