Fly-In-Acres

As the name suggests, this subdivision has true aviation roots. The area was originally developed by a retired World War Two pilot who dreamed of creating a mountain escape where cabin owners could literally fly in for the weekend. The airstrip he built once stretched across what is now Sequoia Woods Golf Course, but the grand idea did not quite take flight. Maybe it was because, after buying a cabin, few people had enough left in the wallet for a plane.

Still, the aviation legacy lives on. Every street in the community is named after a historic war plane, with gems like War Hawk Way and Airacobra Ave adding a fun nod to its skyward past. Fly In Acres has about one hundred sixty parcels, each an acre or more, making it a standout for privacy, elbow room, and a lake worth bragging about. If you want space to breathe, sparkling water to enjoy, and a street name cool enough to impress your friends, this is your spot.
